Cinnamon Apple Chip and Chocolate Trail Mix

I love keeping healthy snack options on hand for me and my family. Snacks can often make or break your goals around weight loss, healthier skin, better energy, etc. Most packaged snacks aren’t the best if you want to reach your goals and a lot of us consume too many of them- mainly because were addicted to them, need something budget friendly and because they’re easy.

This is why I love creating easy homemade or, in this case, semi-homemade healthier options on hand. This makes snacking healthy more doable and affordable.

Trail mixes are the perfect semi-homemade snack to have on hand. They take minutes to prep and are an affordable option for healthy snacking. This is one of my favorites for fall and winter:

what you need (serves 4-6)

1 bar of dark chocolate cut into small pieces or 3/4 cup dark chocolate chips (I used this one)

1 1/2 cups cinnamon apple chips (I used this one here)

1/3 cup pumpkin seeds

3/4 cup raisins

2/4 cup walnuts chopped

Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. Store in an airtight container on the counter. Enjoy!
