Strawberry Smoothie With Blue Spirulina

One way to optimize your health is by adding in more greens like spirulina. Spirulina has so many amazing benefits such as promoting a healthy immune system and better skin health. Plus it is a complete source of protein making this smoothie the perfect balanced post workout meal.

For this smoothie I used this blue spirulina which adds a pop of color and health benefits without any weird flavors!

Serves 1

Ingredients:

8-10 oz plant based milk

1 scoop of protein powder

1/2 tsp blue spirulina

1/2 cup frozen strawberries

1 frozen banana

1 tbsp hempseed

1 tbsp chia seeds

Option for a handful of spinach

Optional 2 tbsp coconut probiotic yogurt

Directions: Add all ingredients to a high speed blender and blend until smooth. Pour into a glass and enjoy!
