PB and J Smoothie

The combination of peanut butter & berries in a smoothie is my favorite- flavor wise & nutritionally.

Peanut butter is a great source of healthy fats and protein. 2 tbsp of peanut butter contains about 8g of protein. This is a great way to add more protein to your day which can impact your skin, muscle growth and maintenance and more.

I also love adding berries to my smoothies. They are great fiber which aids in healthy digestion as well as helping you feel satiated after a meal to curb cravings. Plus they contain lots of Vitamin C known to impact hydration and boost skin brightness.

What you need:

8-10 oz plant based milk

1 frozen banana

1 tbsp chia seeds

2 tbsp peanut butter

1/2 cup frozen raspberries

1 scoop vanilla protein powder (I use this one here)

Ice to thicken

Directions: blend all ingredients together in a blender till smooth. Pour into a cup and enjoy!
