What Is In My Wedding Weekend Travel Bag

EEK!! I cannot believe I am getting married in just a few days! The final countdown is on and I am feeling all the feels- nervous excited, you name it I am feeling it! I figured, since this is a destination wedding for me (we are from the east coast and were marrying on the east coast but since we are living in Phoenix we will be traveling to the wedding) that I would share what I am packing with me. I definitley bought some new items that I wanted for this weekend. My birthday and wedding are happening in the same week so I figured I would treat myself a bit and purchase a few things that would make me feel really good!

Food

Yes, food is essential to my travel experience. I am always packing bars like these ones here. I always keep bars in my carry on bags just in case I need a little refreshment. If I don’t have time to stop and get a healthy meal at either a lay over or when I arrive to my destination, I just grab one of my bars and I am good to go until I can get my hands on a meal. I also splurged and ordered Sakara’s 3 day meal program. I shared in my latest wedding update how I will be eating from the 3 day program for the 3 days leading up to the wedding. The meals are thoughtfully crafted with whole foods and vegan ingredients that will leave me energized, satiated and less bloated.

Hydration Essentials

I never travel without my hydro flask. I use this one here and it is my #1 travel essential. I also bring Nuun Hydration tablets that are filled with electrolytes to help keep my hydrated. I also love Sakaras Detox and Beauty drops which can be added into water together for extra hydration. Staying hydrated while traveling is crucial!

Beauty must haves

I have SO many beauty products and I want to share my top favorites:

True Botanicals Pure Radiance Oil Clear

This is the best product I have ever owned. I wore it the day of my wedding makeup trial and my makeup artist suggested that she preferred if I wore it the day of the wedding. In fact, Laura Dern wore it as her foundation on the set of Big Little Lies because of how radiant it made her skin look. I swear by this product and I have gotten so many compliments on my skin since the first initial use.

Vitamin C Serum from Mad Hippie

I really love this serum. It has helped brighten my skin SO much! I just apply a few droplets and it has made such a difference in the appearance of my skin. I used to use Vitamin C powder, however I found it easier to use a serum instead (plus it is filled with beautiful oils which skin loves!).

OSEA Atmosphere Protection Cream

It is so moisturizing! Because it is so hydrating, makeup just glides on beautifully (you don’t even need too much makeup because it makes skin look so radiant). This moisturizer is my go-to for ultra hydration (without the breakouts). It helps to protect your skin from environmental pollutants which is very essential to skin care.

Summer Fridays jet Lag mask

I wear this on the plane when I travel. It helps to keep skin from drying out. I usually apply all my oils and serums first and then apply this as a moisturizer either on the plane or overnight.

Summer Fridays Pool Time Glowing Body Oil

This is a new to my routine product. I actually used to use a glowing body lotion years ago that I was obsessed with until I found out it wasn’t healthy for skin so I am so glad to find a non-toxic version today. I bought this specifically for the wedding day and for my honeymoon. This oil is lightweight, hydrating and truly makes skin shimmer and glow!! I plan on wearing this on my arms as well as my collar bones to make them pop! It also smells amazing too (like the beach) so that is another reason why I will be wearing it.

Summer Fridays Lip Butter Balm

This stuff is the bomb. it instantly make your lips feel so hydrated. I will be wearing this on the plane to keep my lips hydrated as well as the night before the wedding as a lip mask. You only need the tiniest amount, a little goes a LONG way.

Eye masks

I always bring my facial roller and my eye masks. I really love these eye masks here and this facial roller here. It helps to depuff (from things like travel, jet lag, etc.)

Supplements

I am terrible at taking supplements consistently. My biggest concern going into the wedding is my sleep. Because I am traveling back east, my sleep is going to be thrown off especially because of the time difference. When we start getting ready the day of the wedding it will be 6 am MST which is early for me. I am aiming to get at least 8 hours of sleep the night before the wedding. I already know it is going to be a struggle actually getting to sleep- nerves, excitement and jet lag. My plan is to take my Hum supplements- Mighty Night and Beauty Z’s. I am also going to sip on this magnesium drink to help relax me before bedtime.

Attire

I will definitely share a post about my dress and how I chose it after the wedding along with other information about the weekend in another blog post. I went a little crazy on wedding and honeymoon outfits but this only happens once so I thought why not! So, stay tuned for another post about outfits!

Workout gear

Working out is something that makes me feel happy and energized so it is a must when I travel. I will be bringing my resistance bands with me to workout with as well as my travel workout mat. I will mostly be working on doing HIIT workouts and cardio workouts that require no equipment.

Travel Bags

It was about time that I upgraded my weekender bag. I finally said goodbye to my old tote bag that has been with me through years of traveling. I was trying to find the perfect weekender bag that had a zipper (something that my tote lacked), compartments for laptop and other essentials. I recently upgraded to the Beis Weekender Bag and I am in love! It also has a secret compartment underneath that can store up to 4 pairs of shoes. I also purchased the Cosmetics Case too which is a game changer (it comes with a folding mirror that has it’s own compartment, which is a huge plus!).

Other Travel Essentials

I always travel with a cozy sweatshirt. I also always bring a pair of shorts/sweatpants (unless it is winter, then I just wear sweatpants). I also bring an eye mask like this one here. It not only blocks out light, but it also plays relaxing sounds of choice through bluetooth. I also still love my AirPods which are so simple to travel with because there are no wires. Another essential of mine is a good book and a magazine of course! I specifically love this magazine here, it has journal prompts and some really relaxing things to read.

I cannot wait to share more after the wedding! Stay tuned for updates!
