Iced Matcha Latte

Matcha is one of my favorite things. If you follow me on social media, you know that I love my morning iced coffee pours. I am a coffee lover by nature but every once in a while I whip up a good iced matcha latte.

Matcha always starts with a good matcha. This one is my favorite brand. Beware of matches that contain sugar.

A good matcha latte starts with the right milk. I use coconut milk or macadamia nut milk for my matcha lattes. Macadamia nut milk to me tastes the best with matcha. I am not a fan of almond or oat milk for matcha because it tends to over power the matcha flavor. Here are my favorite milk options for matcha lattes.

  • macadamia nut milk

  • coconut milk

  • hemp seed milk

  • cashew milk

Ingredients:

8 oz. unsweetened plant based milk
1 cup of ice
2 oz. hot water (not boiling)
1-2 tsp matcha

Directions:

Whisk together water and matcha (until all clumps are gone). Then add matcha to a glass. Top with ice and plant based milk, then mix. Enjoy!
